The Luminex II, Luminex, and Diamante require a minimum 4GB SD card, but can support SD cards up to 32GB.

The Diamante requires two standard sized SD cards for the Data SD card and Backup SD card slots. The Luminex and Luminex II require a microSD card for the Backup SD card slot and a standard SD card for the Data SD card slot. The Backup SD card is recessed and must be in the Backup SD card slot in order to use the writer.

The previous image show the two types of SD Cards the Diamante, Luminex, and Luminex II use. The microSD card is the middle card and can be used with the microSD card adapter as a standard SD Card. A standard SD card is the card on the right.

Stenograph recommends SimpleTech, Verbatim, Kingston, or SanDisk SD cards, although any high-quality SD card is acceptable.
