Page View - View, Page  (Alt-v, p)

Page View displays the text as the file would appear when printed. This view displays formatting like the text font, paragraph margins, page borders, headers and footers, and graphics.  If you prefer editing in Normal view, you can easily switch to Page view to see how a page is going to print, i.e. title page, and then switch back to Normal view to continue editing.

Normal View - View, Normal (Alt-v, n)

Normal View the text in a word processing format. Text formatting displays, but other formatting features such as page borders, header and footers, and graphics do not. Depending on if the option Audio Indicators is enabled (View, Show, Audio Indicators), you may also see musical notes (𝅘𝅥𝅮) on the left side of the margin. Many users like to edit in Normal view but will change to Page view to see how a page, i.e. title page, is going to print and then switch back to Normal view to continue editing.

By default, Normal view displays the text as single spaced. To display the text as double spaced, select View, Show, Double Space in Normal View.

If you normally edit your jobs in Page View and find your job opened in Normal View, simply click View, Page.
